Download Potatoe and onion box or a dog food box if you like

My first attempt at a piece of work for the house.  The wife saw this item on a magazine cover and wanted one so gave it a shot.  I used laminated pine boards from a big box store and some scraps i had around the workshop.  Made a few mistakes, one slight measuring error which was fixed by trimming the lid and top with some old cedar molding I had lying around.  The brass hinges on the lid will be painted black to match the other hardware.  I have a couple of coats of shellac on it right now but will need to put a top coat on it of some kind, havent figured that out yet but it will be clear to keep showing off the natural pine.
i liked using sketchup for this project, it helped with alot of the project and i have learned how to use it fairly quickly so it took me about an hour to do the initial plans then a bit of fine tuning along the way.
