Matteo's combo bed

My sons new combo bed that we made together. It's got removable side rails making it easier to change the sheets / covers. We used simple mortice and tenon joinery with the two ends glued and pegged together. The mortice and tenons on the long rails are attached with nuts and bolts ( no glue ) so the bed can be disassembled if necessary. This was our first big project together and it was great watching him work in the shop
