Good Book Stand

This is a modification of the magazine rack that Marc built in episode 71. There had been one person who changed it into a cook book holder for his wife and that got me to thinking that it would look really nice for a book holder for the Bible. I have a couple of friends who are Chaplains and I thought its ability to break down would make it very useful for them since they often have to travel to random locations to perform ceremonies.

Haven't made it yet but plan to soon. Between the two files (Marc's from episode 71) and this one you should have no problem building this.

Several people have requested the Sketchup model of my base cabinets. The cabinets are shown on my workshop profile at http://thewoodwhispe...ipped-workshop/. The complete drawer boxes are not drawn in the model. It was originally created for my use and not intended for distribution. Sorry that is lacks some details.

Budda Table

This is a sketchup model I made of a table to hold the Budda that my wife and I got from Japan. The top leg extensions are not correct but I couldn't figure out sketchup well enough to show them right. They will be modeled like Marc's Gadget station when I'm done. The only part I'm worried about is the bottom parts of the legs. The legs will be 2" x 2" x 36" with the concave in the bottom legs near the feet. I'm making the "shelves" from Caribbean Rosewood and the legs from another contrasting hardwood that I have not decided on yet. My worry is that with the concave being 1" indented, will it be too weak for the piece? Feel free to place your constructive crits on it and any recommendations.
