Nick2cd
I've often thought how nice it would be if there was a high quality hinge made that would fit into 2 corresponding domino mortises. I imagine it being used on a dovetailed mahogany humidor that is lined with Spanish cedar and stocked with a full compliment of premium stogies! There would probably be a glass of good scotch on the rocks nearby.

Boatworks Today
Glass?? I'm thinking a nice little bottle! And, at least for me it wouldn't be scotch, but a nice jug of Hendricks Gin .. Can't do dark liquors, never been able to...
wdwerker
I am pretty sure some of the SOSS hinges fit a domino slot. Irish whiskey or a fine aged tequila for my glass!
croessler
I'm with wdwerker... A nicely aged sipping Tequila would be in my glass.
Byrdie
I've become a fan of single barrel Jack Daniels.
robjeffking
Ive been using the ibox and incra hingecrafter with good results being able to glue the hinges and sand them smooth flush with the box leaves a very nice look.
adambaum
No, it has to be a Good single malt Scotch. Heck, let's go crazy: Laphroig 30 yr, Balvenie 25 yr, or a Glenfarclas 25 yr.
prov163
Jack Daniel's Tennessee Honey. Mmmmm. But not when I'm anywhere near the shop. I screw up enough projects without help from the boys in Lynchburg. And I like my fingers at the end of my hand, right where they belong. wdwerker
That Jack/ honey stuff is the first thing Jack Daniels came out with that I did not like. If you are ever in Atlanta give me a shout, 3/4 of a bottle will never be touched again. Now if you have any Irish whiskey or Tequila bring it and we can have a party. Nick2cd
Nick have you thought about Lamello hinges. You just press them into a biscuit slot. Don, I don't have a biscuit joiner. I tend to use dominos for most biscuity tasks.
dwacker
If you go buy some lamello hinges that will give you an excuse to buy a joiner.
