dwacker
I started building my left side saw support this weekend. I though some folks here might like to have one or use it for inspiration for your own designs. No modifications to the saw except a hole in the plastic rail cap. You can see my progress at my blog. The steel rod is 1" hot rolled. I'll pick up the rest of the steel this week and finish it up. The block is held by the switch bolts acting as set screws. Rod is 50" long so supported about 24" inside the tube when extended 25". http://www.pnwwoodworker.com
calblacksmith
looks good so far! What are you going to attach to at the back of the saw? Do you plan to add legs to the outboard end for support?
