Steve Lyde Posted January 9, 2014 Report Share Posted January 9, 2014 I built my Roubo in March of 2012 and I really enjoy it except for the pin of the leg vise. I dislike the pin so much that I almost never use the leg vise. Well today I installed a chain kit form Ancora Yacht Service and I just have to say this thing is fantastic!! My leg vise glides even smoother than before and will clamp anything within it's range of travel just by spinning the hand wheel. It only took me a couple of hours to install and I only had to drill a few holes in my existing chop and bench leg. I'm sure my bench will see even more use now.
