Shane Jimerfield
It is not unusual - around here in southern Oregon - to be approached by someone wanting to sell a nice burl. I never say yes, and encourage my peers to say no too. This is why. http://www.nps.gov/redw/parknews/newton-drury-parkway-will-be-closed-at-night-due-to-increased-wood-poaching.htm
..Kev
Anyone who has traveled the coast in that area has seen these for sale. They are beautiful but, expensive in more ways than money. I used to live in Northern California and have seen this many times. Good advice, thanks for sharing!
Eric.
That's a damn shame. Like someone killing an elephant for its tusks.
Freddie
How long will it take until they have a commercial out with Sarah McLachlan to adopt a tree for just 10 cents a day, because they feel pain, and you can help!
