Popular Post Indy Cindy
I am reading a book called Wood Identification and Use by Terry Porter that I checked out from the library. It is a pretty cool book and has interesting and useful information on many woods including known health risks. I first read about the woods I commonly use to see what it says about their health risks. Black Walnut - irritation to eyes and skin. Sugar Maple - dust can affect lung function. American ash - decrease in lung function, rhinitis, asthma. Black Cherry - wheezing and giddiness. Say what? Giddiness??! So if we want to get in a good mood we should work with cherry? I told my husband this and he says he is going to run out and buy some cherry for me. ha ha Hmm, maybe I can really get him to do that!
Coop
Walnut makes me giddy. And then again, so does Miller Lite.
