rodger.
I just finished building some storage for my handplanes, and decided that my saws should be the next to get some storage dedication. I was planning on building a basic sawtill, like the one in the photo below. After doing some reading, some authors mentioned that there is a concern in storing the saws this way, as the saw plates can warp. Has anyone experienced this? Trip
That's almost exactly the till I use -- I've never had an issue... But... I've only been storing saws about a decade... I've got four thin-plate saws -- never seen any problems...

Tom King
I can't believe there would be any risk to a saw sitting like those.
Popular Post Freddie
The only risk you run is inducing forum chubbs by posting pictures like that. Proceed at your own risk.
CStanford
How do you store your bow-saws and turning saws?
Arminius
If you come across a design/article, a link would be much appreciated. One of these is on my list for the year, but the only design I can recall seeing is the 'Galoot' one where the dovetails go in the wrong direction for it to be structurally sound.
