G S Haydon
Now I'm starting to wonder. It's been a month since he logged on...that's 1/12th of a year for those of you who are bad at math. Hope he didn't stroke out on us or anything. Guess there's no way to get ahold of him? Not sure but if we PM'd a mod or Marc perhaps they have something? Beechwood Chip
I've been following the thread. Don's dropped out of WTO before and come back later. Has anyone PM'd Don? Maybe he has his account set to email him when he gets PM'd.

Beechwood Chip
It's generally considered rude to try to track down someone's real life identity from their posts. Marc probably has email and postal addresses for Don (I know that he has mine). I think it's Marc's call, if he wants to contact Don directly to see if everything's OK, or leave him alone until he comes back.
Llama
I agree Mr. Chip. There is a fine line between concerned and invasive. Since this is a relatively small forum community that line is more easily blurred than on other forums.

As in, no large argument with someone.
Llama
The thread isn't invasive. I mean that tracking him down would be invasive.

wdwerker
I'd like to add a power feed to my home made router table. Anyone know where I can find plans? I actually did this years ago. I took a 6 ft long surplus computer table with a 2" thick laminated top and cut a hole for a PC690 router. Then I mounted a small powerfeeder and a long fence. A 5 gallon bucket and a shop vac completed the rig. I only use it for cutting a 1/4 x 1/4 groove for cabinet backs. Don is right I have snapped a few bits, sharp bit and a slower feed rate worked. When Particle Board gets back he is gonna wonder where the new " master posters" came from.
Popular Post wdwerker
I did some poking around on the net. His website for his shop does not come up at all, but he could have take it down ages ago for all I know. Googled his name and there were no obituaries listed. Considering his past lapses and medical issues I hope he is just taking a break or busy supervising the projects he had mentioned. I wish him well and know he is missed here.

Popular Post wdwerker
Yea but where else are we going to get to swap info and hang out with folks who understand what we feel passionate about. I feel like we get back what we put into this forum, or maybe we pay back some of the old guys that taught us when we were coming along. I know for a fact that my grandfather would be quite proud of me. He told me he was proud of me when I taught him a few things and I treasure that praise!
Vyrolan
Someone, some day is going to come across these posts not realizing everyone is joking Lol That's me...today...except that it was very obvious everyone is joking. I only feel sad that I wasn't around for all the hilarity...may have to do some archival reading. =p
