TerryMcK
Heads up Sketchup users. There is a new interim release of Sketchup 2014 available for download. Probably a load of bugfixes - the Windows version (still only 32bit but hey it's free! ) is Version 14.1.1282 Happy sketching.
DaveT
I had that version before I switched to linux but I can't get that version to run on Ubuntu so I'm back to 8.
DavidFL
I've got the 2013 version running on Ubuntu. They have a download page with the older versions: http://www.sketchup.com/download/all Just select the SketchUp Pro 2013 version to download, it reverts to the Make version after a few hours of use. Also, I think there is a workaround for 2014, if you don't need to use any plugins, as the problem with that version is in Ruby.

Dewald Swanepoel
I've been using version 8 happily for some time now and finally decided that I should maybe upgrade. So I've got 2014 now and so far it looks pretty OK. What are the major differences between this and 8?
