mkirby
Hi all, Don't think i ever posted a pic of my new (well i have had it a while) roubo saw by Ron Bontz. Its a great saw to use. It cuts fast but still leave a clean smooth surface. Its heavy at 6lb which is good as it stays seated in the cut. Still doesn't stop me from thinking plumb is of to the left somewhere mind Love it and i will slowly be collecting a full set of Rons saws, they are well worth the wait

CStanford
It's really too bad Monsieur Roubo isn't alive to collect royalties. What's next, Roubo shop rags? Extra large. Extra thirsty.
Dan S
Awesome looking saw, what are it's dimensions?

mkirby
It is a 20" long plate with a full 6" depth It is filed 9ppi, 8*rake, 3* fleam and 0.006 to 0.007 of set per side. And i don't think it was expensive ($454), it was the same price (including postage) as a 16" tennon from flynn and garlic over here. So i got 4 more inches of plate, a deeper cut and a free upgrade to super grainy walnut handle for the price of a machine made saw over here. Worth every penny. You guys are so lucky to have all these bespoke makers available to you.
Eric.
There's a good chance that I sold him the lumber for the handle on your saw. Small world.
