Deciding that wood working is far too hard I decided to try wood growing.

After sitting in my fridge at 5 degrees for the last 2 months i have my 1st seedling of Chinese mahogany.

If this grows it will become the centre piece of my vegetable garden. The new growth is edible and the red shoots are used in cooking and taste like onions.

And if it gets too big i can always chop it down and mill it :)
