Help finding a project

Hello everyone!

I've gotten some great advice on here in various other forum posts, and I'd like to ask for some help finding a project to build for my soon to be 1 year old son. I've already decided to build him some toys, namely a model T, but he loves being bounced around and tossed and I call him my little roller coaster enthusiast.

I would love to be able to make him something that he can get full body motion out of, like either a human gyroscope or a small wooden roller coaster.

Can anyone point me in a good direction for a larger project like that? Either something someone else has already done or some good resources?

Thanks!

Rocking horses are a lot of fun for most small people even before they are able to mount up by themselves. :D They stay popular with the kids for about four or five years. :D  They are great for watching the Muppet's and Barney on TV and get a little exercise at the same time.

There are tons of plans and ideas all over the web and are fairly easy and fast to construct for Dad.

As a Granddad, I have built six or seven over the years. Mostly for grandchildren but, a few of the neighborhood kids too.

I was still using one for my "get-away reading seat" when I was 16...  Helps that the rocker was larger and in the family library in the basement.  I found out afterwards that my dad used basic construction lumber on it, and it was built when I was under five.  I'll see if I can find a photo of it... won't win any prizes for pretty, but durable it might.
