Shane Jimerfield
I've been asked by my son's school to build a couple of cabinets. Due to the cost they will need to get three bids. So, I told them I would help them draft up a request for bids. Wondering if some of you experienced folks would be willing to have a look at my draft and let me know if it makes sense. I usually don't do this kind of work, but it is for my kids school, so how can I refuse. Woodland Charter School Request for Proposal Item: Shelf/Cabinet Quantity: 2 General dimensions: 48” wide, 16 ¼” deep, and 7’ tall. Shelves are approximately 15 ¼” deep, and 46 ½” long. wtnhighlander
Sounds pretty thorough to me. Don't be afraid to specify brand names and models for the hardware if you need something specific.
RichardA
Is installation part of the contract?
woodbutcher74
Just FYI. In Illinois, anyone involved in preparing bid specs are not eligible to bid.Something you might want to check on. I run into this all the time. Again that's in Illinois and most people know that our state a joke.
..Kev
Had to think about the adjustable shelf line but, the light eventually came on for me You may want to show a dimension for the height of the lower cabinet.. Other than that, it looks great!
