RichardA
I needed to make a couple gifts! I had this fiddleback maple, and thought I'd give it a shot! Two of the mallets are staying in the shop, the other two are gifts, as is the cutting board.

Tpt life
Wow, just wow! I would have a difficult time first using one of those.
RichardA
quite impressive turnaround time. very nice When you're 71+ years of age, and have nowhere to go on a daily basis,aka..job. There is plenty of time to spend doing the things you like! [making sawdust] Having never worked fiddleback wood before, I had to see what it would be like. I sure enjoyed it, especially the end result! Wow, just wow! I would have a difficult time first using one of those. The two mallets being given as gifts, will never hit anything other than a shelf or mantle. One is going to the guy that just gave me the wood, in return for that gift! The two staying in the shop, may not hit anything either, Who knows? I understand that putting a dent in that pretty wood, just might upset me to!
