Firehawk
Hi All, The legs for this table were from a library table that has been in my family for at least 3 generations (maybe more). Several years ago my Dad took the legs off and replaced them with shorter ones he turned on a lathe to make it into a coffee table. Sadly my Dad passed about 3 years ago. A couple months ago my mother pointed out that the original legs were in her attic and that I should try to find a use for them. I decided to surprise her with an end table for her Birthday. The wood for the shelf came from original shelf from the library table. The rest of the wood was from a stack I salvaged from my Dad's workshop. The hardest part of the project was selecting a stain and finish to match the table that my Dad made.

Byrdie
Very nice job of repurposing and mixing old and new. A piece that should last several more generations and build some of its own stories.
