duckkisser
So I just bought a new carving motor last night but I acidently got the model desighned for 230 volt since I don't live in Europe or another country it would not have done me much good. But the customer service department thought it was strange that a guy in Illinois is buying a tool that can't be used in the US so they contacted me to find out if I realy wanted that tool. Most companies would have just sent the tool so it was appreciated that their employes were vigilant and realy cared for their customers. The company was jetstools on ebay I know I'll definitely buy from them again in the future.
wtnhighlander
Sounds like the supplier from the "dented can" thread could learn something from those folks.
Brian Jenkins
I did something similar when I ordered my bandsaw bands from Jergens Supply (Spectrum). I ordered online 6 bands and one of them I had an inch longer than the rest. They called me up to verify. Eric.
That's good to hear, but they do have a vested interest in the matter...if they send you a unit you can't use, that pretty much guarantees a return, which will cost them money. But it's nice that they were paying enough attention to catch it.
