knotscott
It looks to be a well built saw, but $1300 seems like an expensive hybrid to me. My idea of an inexpensive hybrid is something like the $550 Delta 36-725 or Ridgid R4512. The fence rail appears to be aluminum, and the stock configuration features a two-piece front rail. FWIW, it appears that Baleigh offers pretty much the same saw in the TS-1044H. It's worth noting that the same money buys a more substantial Grizzly G1023RL 3hp industrial cabinet saw. Are you restricted to 120v? If you are restricted to 120v, the Jet Proshop is worth a good look.
