Gilgaron
The clawfoot machinery sure is eye catching! He must've been quite the collector, no one needs that many marking gauges even if they can think of an excuse to need that many planes... I think you'll spend the rest of your life selling this if you don't have an auctioneer take care of it.
Tpt life
I think it is safe to say we have moved beyond a plea for help and straight into outright boasting:-) This is like a woodworker version of the movie National Treasure. RichardA
Tony,I know you'd like to unload all this stuff as quick as possible, but how about considering the Marketplace on this forum, And, give us a shot at some of that woodworking equipment? I'm sure you'd find reasonable offers. As for the wood, we'd take a shot at that as well, but getting it to the buyers might be a problem. But that could be worked out. A couple of us might get together and make a road trip and do the distribution! And when we come for the pick up, we could assist you with some identification! Rick A McQuay
A few W. F. Barnes Machines 7.jpg Makes me wish I had the room and budget to collect old machines like that. There is a guy near me with basically museum of treadle and other old machines.
Byrdie
My eyes hurt. "Ohhh, look at that. No wait! Look at that. Hold on! Look at that!" I wanted to crawl into my laptop screen, reach through and touch/grab some (all) of it. Oh well ...
