wouldwurker
Glue up time. Due to the fact that I finished before assembly, I've never been so meticulous with glue. It's like building a model airplane, without all the fun hallucinations. W
wouldwurker
Still clamping...still gluing.
Byrdie
I can see a couple spots where clamping is going to be fun and I might have used a different sequence. For instance I would have saved the two outer slats on the back for last because you've got quite a bit of depth to span in order to clamp to the cross support. Likewise I think I would've done all the slats on the seat before attaching the legs and back because clamping around the legs will present some challenges. The quality of your work makes me believe you'll find ways to overcome these hurdles and you'll manage to get it done. Really looking nice and a great job on the finish. I also agree with whomever it was that commented on the detail on the arms. It adds just the right level of embellishment and looks really great! wouldwurker
Haha. Trust me, I've been cursing my clamping 'strategy' for the last 4 hours!
Byrdie
I didn't learn the easy way either. It's why I spotted it so quickly in your picture.
