Popular Post duckkisser
Just finished this box and was excited to show it off. This was a fun project learned a bit about wiring up LED's and fitting the compartment inside the lid. Don't mind the mess was doing the crossword and eating corn chips. While waiting for the finish to dry.

wtnhighlander
Is that a tinted epoxy inlay, or is there some stone in it? Looks really smooth in the photo. Nice work.

duckkisser
Just took it out with a scroll saw, taped it to a board with carpet tape filled with epoxy and after dried turned it again to clean up the face. The hardest part was making sure I had a good seal so the epoxy didn't run out. It's run off of 2 aaa batteries. Think in the future I'll cut it, glue a scrap piece to the outside. Fill the cut then turn off the scrap and finish shaping the lid. One more step but more dependable results.
