..Kev
Well, it's Sunday and my bench was empty. Time to upgrade the sandpaper rack.. Left over BB ply and some Sapele.

Freddie
It must be nice to be organized. Mine looks like a hurricane ripped a bunch of wind farts and the end result is my workshop!

wdwerker
It is fun to use some real nice scrap for shop projects, it beats tossing it or giving it away.

RichardA
I hate wasting good scrap pieces, especially since there are so many uses for them if only you just put your mind to it. Well done.
Coop
Kev, Looks like boxes of Festool discs. Do you find they're better than other brands? How do they compare price wise?
..Kev
Kev, Looks like boxes of Festool discs. Do you find they're better than other brands? How do they compare price wise? Frankly, they're the only ones I've used on my sander Cooper so, can't give you an educated opinion. As for the price, the green koolaid is always a little more expensive but, they've worked well for me. The improved dust collection really extends the life of the discs. Coop
Oh crap. I was considering their discs after looking at them at the Rockler store and now, with your comment about the dust collector, you've got me thinking about spending more money. I've looked a couple of times at Festool's site and the tremendous amount of parts offered, just for the ros and vacuum turned me off fast. Too many options! Did you buy yours as a combo or individually?
..Kev
I don't recall which combo I bought but, I did buy a combo. I own a few Festool items. I will say that you won't regret having a CT unit to go with it. A shop vac with an adapter will work as well, it's just not variable and the vac won't come on with the tool. ChetlovesMer
I love completing shop projects. There's no money in them, and they never seem to impress the bride. But there's just something wonderful about finally organizing that .... what ever. In you case sanding discs. Great job, nice use of scrap.
Jabbo
Looks nice. I don't think I could work in such a clean and organized area.
..Kev
Thanks Jabbo! Drives me nuts to not have organization in my shop. Believe me, my shop is not always clean but, I do make an effort to keep it picked up.. Mid projects, the shop can look pretty disastrous.
