Carrara
Hey all, I need to cut out a piece of wood in my project and the corner radius is 25.. In the plan it says R25.. Now what diameter is R25? Is it 50mm? Have a good one!
Byrdie
Total guess but are they indicating a 1/4" radius?
Rapid Roger
It doesn't matter if it is R 25 MM or R .25 inches, (1/4") the radius is one half of the diameter. So if you are using millimeters, the diameter would be 50 MM. If you are using inches, the diameter would be 1/2" Or .5 inches. It is just geometry anyway. ..Kev
Are you cutting a circle or rounding over an edge?
Carrara
Ive got a slab of wood that I need to cut a piece sawn off in the middle of it but it should not have square corners but rounded ones and the plan says R25
Rick A McQuay
That is drafting notation, means 25 mm since all measurements are in mm. - sent via Tapatalk
