Ok dumb question of the week.

I am going to finish my easel with Danish oil. So when applying the 1st coat i want to flood the surface and wait about 20mins to let it soak in and then wipe of the excess.

My question is once i have applied to one side do i wait the 20 mins, wipe, flip and do the other side or do i just do it all in one go?

Told you stupid question :)

Not a stupid question at all. You can do it all at the same time. As you are "flooding" keeping the surface wet, you're not allowing the oil to dry. I usually hold the piece with a cloth and use another to wipe it dry after the 20 min. Keeps most of the oil off of your hands and any potential finger prints off of the piece.
