It was intended for the local votech school but the program got cancelled so the DC was rarely used. Then a friend of mime whose wife worked at the school bought it and put it into storage for another 3 year. So it is 6-8 years old. It came with 60' of 4" hose, a lot of gates, some elbows, a metal trash can with a Woodtek lid, a 5 micron bag filter, a 2 micron filter, and 0.5 micron filter. I have a few questions about when do I use the different filters? What does the woodtech lid do cause everything seems to go right thru it? Can I get a metal cone to update my DC to the modern vortex tech? Is there a hack to fix the Woodtek lid? The DC works great with the planer, jointer, miter saw, bandsaw, and sanders but not so well with my table saw, a DeWalt DW746x(I have already closed in the base so it is more like a cabinet saw and plan to use foam to close in more of the holes where the top meets the saw...
