davewyo
Here is a link to a Picasa album of a reclaimed oak blanket chest I did last spring. I apologize for posting a link rather than putting up the photos. I haven't figured out how to put up photos yet. https://picasaweb.google.com/davewyo1/BlanketChestBuild?authuser=0&feat=directlink Dave
..Kev
Nice blanket chest Dave! That's a lot of photos!
davewyo
Thanks Tiods. Yeah, I could have trimmed down that album a bit...lots of duplicates. I was trying to document the process for my family and may have gotten a little carried away. It was my first shot at building something that doesn't require the nail gun and screwdriver. All of the joinery besides the miters was a new experience. Many mistakes were made, some were even corrected. It was quite a learning experience. You did a nice job out of the gate!
wtnhighlander
Now to put all that new knowledge to work on another great piece! Good idea with the photos. Documenting the process can be really useful as reference for future projects.

I'll post the pics in another album. Dave
