Mzdadoc
Here it is dry fit. Candle center piece with hard curly mable base with cocobola feet. Still need to split down the center, sand and then finish. First project in newly completed shop. Everything goes faster when it's organized.

Eric.
I like it! Simple and elegant. I wonder what would happen if you slightly tapered the outsides of the legs (skinnier at the top)? Might throw one of those together myself...we could use a new dining table adornment. Thanks for the inspiration!
ChetlovesMer
Very nice. btw - is that a shop made zero clearance insert in your table saw?
Coop
Split down the center? You gonna give her one half for her BD and the other for Christmas? I like the design and the wood!
wouldwurker
Split down the center? You gonna give her one half for her BD and the other for Christmas? One for the wife and one for the girlfriend. I love the feel of sanded hard maple....it's like marble. Very nice BTW - your own design?
Mzdadoc
Very nice. btw - is that a shop made zero clearance insert in your table saw? Yes it is. Bought one insert just as a template for all the rest.
Mzdadoc
Split down the center? You gonna give her one half for her BD and the other for Christmas? I like the design and the wood! The plan calls for it to be ripped down the center then put back together with a 1/8th" gap

Very nice BTW - your own design? Thank you all very much but actually a Woodsmith magazine plan. I'll put their pic up since mine may not look the same. Coop
I remember seeing that now. I think I like the type of wood you used better than the original.
