Raefco
One came up on craigs list in good working order with a 24" fence, wired 240 with 1.5 hp motor. I am currently using a portable. yea or nae? Did I mention he is asking $
wdwerker
Not bad but 9" blade is a real limiting factor. 10" is minimum in my book. It might beat today's upside down circular saw portable tablesaws but it's below a lot of contractors saws.
..Kev
It's a nice upgrade from what you have for a cheap price for sure. It is underpowered and undersized tho.
Raefco
I haven't seen it yet, I'll be working in the shop tomorrow, the contractor I work for is 85 miles from home and the saw is not far from there so I may go have a look tomorrow. I am currently using a 10" portable skil, it does have a 4X8 bench behind it for an out feed table but till I joined this forum I had not even given a serious thought to upgrading. I don't do any production work so a little extra time finishing an edge really dont matter and since I grew up in a autobody restoration shop I dont seem to loath sanding like many here do. When your used to taking things to 2500, 400 dont seem so bad.
