From the photo it looks like you have a Quonset Hut: http://www.history.navy.mil/faqs/faq75-1.htm A semi-circular building made out of metal ribs, sheathed with sheet metal, and often has plywood ends. Quonset Huts began their reign just about the time WW2 got started, and the US Army made a hell of a lot of use of them during that war.
