wouldwurker
'Restoring' is probably not the best choice of words. My brother in law lives in San Diego and bought a house that came with some nice teak patio furniture. Nice patina, but splinter and crack city and could use to TLC. His ideas to fix them up were not good ones, as like most folks, wood is not his bailiwick. Google search had some pretty bad advice as well, mostly from blogging soccer moms. They've aged naturally, but need a sanding and (maybe?) some additional finishing products. I know teak holds up well on its own. Watco has a Teak oil that I use and like on Spanish Cedar and Mahogany, but I don't (think) it's actually meant for Teak. More of a Danish oil with UV protection. Thanks all.
