bfiedler
Here are a bunch of pen's, coffee scoops, and a letter opener I have turned recently. Give me your thoughts. Lots of different species. Bloodwood, Red Heart, Paduk, among others. Wax finish, I haven't had much luck with other finishes, going to try a few things on the next batch. Let me know what you think! bushwacked
Good looking pens. How long does it take per pen?
bfiedler
Whole process including drilling, and cutting the blanks, probably about 20-30 minutes. 15 of that is spent at the lathe probably.

RichardA
My eyes must be shot or you've figured out how to make invisible coffee scoops and letter openers, but the pens look great!
wtnhighlander
Is there a particular pen kit you prefer?
Mzdadoc
Very nice pens. I should have never gotten rid of my lathe years ago.
Coop
All of these are great looking. however, the pen that is probably the most comfortable for writing would be the 2nd pic, 3rd. from the left. You might know I would like the simplest design Good work

Whoops! Accidentally posted the same picture twice, and left out the one with the scoops!
bfiedler
Is there a particular pen kit you prefer? I have stuck to mainly slimline pen/pencil kits. Two of those are the bolt action pen kits, and I have ordered a few tec 7 pens. I don't like bulky pens, which kinda limits you. But I am gonna try as much as I can! But yes, that is the most comfortable one.
