duckkisser
Wonderful! I particularly like the one with the ribbons running thru. thanks it was alot of cuting and gluing i had to cut a block and glue and clamp a piece of veneer in each cut. then i needed to turn it gently to keep it from cracking. ended up making 4 of them. Coop
Great looking pens Duck! Corn cob, who would have thought it. Is that a common material with turners?
duckkisser
Great looking pens Duck! Corn cob, who would have thought it. Is that a common material with turners? more common then some odd materials because it is easy to get and cheap just go for a walk on a fall day after harvest. does call for lots of super glue to stabilize the material
wdwerker
I would have thought you would soak or cast a corn cob in epoxy first.
duckkisser
acts just like a sponge and sucks it right up i bet you can use epoxy but this is faster i just toss a few drops at the corn cob and half hour later plenty hard for what you need done.
