Removing oil from mahogany

I goofed, I set a can of 3 in 1 oil on my mahogany low boy and some ran onto the table top and was absorb into the wood. How can I remove the oil stain from the wood?

That's a tough one.  Is there any kind of finish on LB?

No finish, just wax/furniture polish. I guess that makes it far worse

Try repeated cleanings with laquer thinner. I might escalate to MEK ( Methel Eythel Ketone ) if the laquer thinner doesn't do the trick. Both are highly flammable so outside, gloves and a respirator will be needed. MEK is potent stuff, taint cheap either.

Good luck!

The laquer thinner worked , I washed the are three times and the oil was gone. I applied two coats of wax and it looks great!
