Cleaning up a water damaged finish

Howard's Restor- a-finish might help, can't hurt. It comes in different colors, in a little can. I get it at a hardware store. Just follow the directions on the can. It's not going to do as good of a job as refinishing the whole top( which is what it really needs) , but it will make an improvement . Just follow the directions on the can.

No, clean it up first with a little min. Spirits and a gray scotch brite pad, lightly! Maybe use stripper, but sanding can go through veneers so quick. Sanding can also take all kinds of details away or change the shape of a molding.

Lightly sand after stripping. Then there are dozens of ways to refinish !

If you are going to use it for plants again, try the Howard's !
