I noticed They sell a digital read out from supermax for 189 so I opted to get every other option but not that one. Anyway I was reading the product description for the wIxey unit for planers and it said it works for drum sanders as well. My Wixley digital scale on my tablesaw is a bit lightweight and fussy at times. I,played w a Supermax with the digital readout and it looked nice. I don't why that's not a good idea as long as the conveyor belt and the paper on the roller are good and tight. I use mine for things other than the ts. Ideally I Save 120 Bucks From The Dro Unit From Supermax. Worst case it will go on my 20 " planer I get next month so no matter what I got nothing to lose I'll give it a shot.
