There's a very noticeable increase in air flow - there was dust in the lower unit of my bandsaw I was going to vac out, but when I did a test run with the new filter it all got sucked out. Jfitz Posted January 28, 2015 Author Report Share Posted January 28, 2015 I previously had the stock 1micron bag. It's possible it was somewhat caked with dust but I cleaned it every now and then. I attached it with the turnbuckles provided with the filter. They hooked on the lower metal ring inside the filter, and on the flange inside the blower housing. I think I recall seeing a post where someone was able to find a place in Canada that supplied filters for Diesel engines, which had the same dimensions. Not sure about the filtration though.
