rmartuszewski
I made this from free pallets. The red oak is left over from the rails for my table saw sled. No clue on wood type, but was finished with shellac.
wdwerker
Takes creativity to work around the limitations of pallet wood. Well done!

bushwacked
I can't tell from the pic but are the glasses sitting on a flat surface or did you take a Forstner and drill out a section for each? Looks great though where will it be going?
rmartuszewski
It will be going in kitchen. I don't own any of those bits yet, one day maybe will have the money to buy a set. I used a router straight bit and in sections routed out a channel to keep the glasses in place on the shelves. Channel goes left to right along shelf. RichardA
Very nicely done! But, why the hell are they empty? Shot glasses are useless unless full!

Tom Cancelleri
The idea of using a dado to hold the glasses is clever. Well done.
wtnhighlander
Nice job, especially making do with less than optimal lumber. Lot of work to reclaim pallets, but sometimes you find some really nice wood.
