shaneymack
I received some t-tracks from lee valley yesterday. I thought they came with screws and you just screw them in. Doesnt seem like the case. No holes. Seems like recommended install is epoxy. What do you guys do. Epoxy or drill holes and screw or something different? Brendon_t
I have only used incra t track and it comes pre drilled every 6 inches with flat top screws. Depending on your substrate and the length of run I don't know that I'd personally trust just epoxy.
Raefco
I drilled and counter sunk small screws, I thought about putting a bead of silicone in the bottom to isolate some vibration but I decided against it.
shaneymack
Kinda weird that the lee valley ones dont come with holes. I only got those ones because i needed 5/16" to fit my festool clamps.
Raefco
I ordered small track and miter gauge track off of e-bay. The small track was pre drilled, the miter track was not, I dont know the brand of either.
Woodenskye
Next time buy Incra t track if possible. That fits Festool.

TerryMcK
You have to drill and countersink the holes in some Tee tracks.
wdwerker
Careful set up on a drill press is worth the effort. Getting the holes centered makes it go so much easier.

Dont have a drill press..... guess my options are drilling by hand or just gluing it.
wdwerker
Very careful layout work and center punching will suffice, drill the hole from the back/ bottom then counter sink from the top.

wdwerker
A pair of small squares to give you an idea of how square your bit is to the track and an observer might help. They can see how crooked you are better than you can sometimes. It is very easy to drill crooked holes. Finding access to a drill press would be smart, if not be accurate and careful.
