Kevinshuffield
I love doing Christmas projects. I am a newbie but I've been around wood working a lot. See the light bulb looking things that spell out merry christmas? Should I do that on a band saw of use a hand held jig saw for it? Thanks
Eric.
I'd use a bandsaw.
wdwerker
If you have some experience with a bandsaw do it that way. If you are new to the bandsaw or have a small inexpensive one,use a jigsaw.

wtnhighlander
You're all wrong. Must use a router and pattern bit!

Byrdie
I'm partial to jig saw for these. They're clearly light plywood and then painted. These aren't fine furniture, no need to go overboard.
