Immortan D
Got a call from a friend who's selling this jig. He said he never used it, so everything is supposed to be brand new, router bits and all. He's giving me a good price. But I don't want to buy trash, even at low prices. I think I could use it for my box joints, just because it seems easier to setup than my Incra fence (due to lack of space I cannot have my router table ready to use at all times). What do you guys think? Any owner who can share his experience with the jig?
dwacker
Works fine lots of uses. Download the supplemental manual.
Immortan D
Works fine lots of uses. Download the supplemental manual. Some interesting joints there! Extra bits required though. I have a CMT set of bits designed specifically for the Incra jig, will check their sizes to see if they can be used with the PC jig as well. dwacker
I think the ability to run it like a Keller is the biggest benefit especially if you decide to do a kitchen full of drawers or something along that line.
Immortan D
I see that, breaks the 12'' barrier.

Raefco
I have the 4210, I got it new for 89 bucks, it only came with one templet for half blind dovetails, I haven't looked at the supplemental manual that PB spoke of so there are prabably other uses but in my opinion as easy as it is to use and the quality, speed and convenience it brings to making rock solid drawers makes it worth it just for that.
prov163
Did sliding dovetails with mine the other day. It's great for half blind dovetails. Need to experiment more with it, but well worth the money I spent.
Immortan D
Thank you all. I have a Dewalt 611PK trim router (1.25HP), with template adapter and centering cone. Will it be enough for this jig? Otherwise I will have to remove my bulky Makita from the router plate.

Otherwise I will have to remove my bulky Makita from the router plate. Not real sure about that router. Others will have to answer. This is how I set up my template. Just installed a new block a few days ago.
Immortan D
PB, that looks straightforward. It's about aligning the edge of the wood with engraved line, right?

Immortan D
Jig is at home. I'm pleased by its weight! It didn't seem that heavy in the pictures.
