davestanton
I know that Festool does a great job on dust control but I found that the last inch of a cut with the tracksaw on the MFT-3 produces a small blowout of dust that is not captured. I designed and made a simple port that slides into their frame profile and fixes the issue. Click here to watch me describe the need and then make it. What do you think?
Lee Bussy
Okay ... I have shop envy now. The wife loves Barry of course.
davestanton
Lee, this is my 3rd shop and everyone was better than the predecessor. I have been in the industry for a long time and patiently went about bettering my situation. I have to pinch myself when I walk into this one to remind me that it is mine! The pugs just happened to steal the limelight on my youtube channel when one of Barry's clips went viral..... stuck with him for the moment. I may move him to a new channel, have to think about it for a bit.I am sure your shop will develop into a great space that you enjoy yourself in.
Lee Bussy
Well, this is not my livelihood so unless the day job all of a sudden generates a lot of excess cash (and really, does that ever happen?) it's likely canned beans for me. Still, it all gives me ideas. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
