wouldwurker
.44 Mag ammo box from the range holds half inch shank bits quite nicely. (Personally, I keep mine in the original packaging, but maybe this will be of use to somebody out there)

woodbutcher74
In Illinois you'd have to have a FOID card to buy a router bit storage device! Great tip though.
FtrPilot
So, if Dirty Harry takes up woodworking, he will have plenty of places to store his router bits. For those who don't own a 44 magnum, you might try one of these: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/122368/frankford-arsenal-universal-reloading-tray-50-round-plastic-blue?cm_vc=ProductFinding Or one of these: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/2124125282/frankford-arsenal-perfect-fit-reloading-tray?cm_vc=ProductFinding #6 is .53 diameter which work for 1/2 in shaft router bits.
wouldwurker
Six bucks? Sheesh...I used to go through 10 of these a week.

FtrPilot
Six bucks? Sheesh...I used to go through 10 of these a week. Reusable reloading trays? 10 boxes of 44 mag ammo per week would wear me out, and would cost more than six bucks. If you have any 44 mag brass laying around, I would be interested in acquiring it.
