banderson Posted April 24, 2015 Report Share Posted April 24, 2015 I have been playing around with woodworking for sometime. This hobby started by making better furniture then I could buy but has taken a couple of interesting turns. I have found the love of designing and making toys. I am currently working on toy plans which can be made from standard dimension lumber. It has been extremely rewarding to see the design become a toy and them light up a child's face when they play with it. I am finding I like the design process more then the actual build however these two things go hand in hand. It is very easy to design something that cannot be built. I have enjoyed and learned a lot from the posts that have been reading. I wish I had started to participate in the forum a while ago. I have received a lot of ideas and have learned a lot.
