Dirk Plantinga
I have a Ryobi compound miter saw. I got a great deal on a craftsman miter saw table at a yard sale. Of course the brackets on the table do not work with the Ryobi. Need ideas/directions/required material to rig a solution. For example, I thought of using brackets to mount plywood to the table and then mount the saw to the plywood – but I am not sure how to do that. The length between the bolt holes on the saw is about 15” and the length across the table is 7”. Hope these pictures help. Thanks!
woodbutcher74
Can't you bolt your saw to a piece of 1/2" ply and use the existing clamps to hold it down? By the way welcome to the forum.
Coop
If the two items on each end with the knobs are the brackets you're talking about and they won't hold the ply down, use L shaped metal corner brackets to attach the ply to the frame.
