Immortan D
I need links, pictures, drawings, specs, any resource that would help me build a standalone deadman, but Google is not helping.
Gilgaron
I clamp a T shaped deadman I made out of 2x4s and clamp it in a Rockwell Jawstand for adjustability when I'm putting things on the ceiling. Or do you mean a deadman for your workbench?
Immortan D
No, not for my workbench, I need one with a foot of its own.
Llama
There is an article in FWW with Frank Klausz, where he shows his workbench, and deadman. I'd be happy to send it over tonight when I get home.

Immortan D
Apparently the right name for the thing is "bench slave".
Janello
Why would you want one of those? I have a bench and I have a slave (kids). But knock yourself out. I'm such a wise ass

Janello
Cool Idea. My bench has an adjustable height metal base. I'd like to see how this turns out, I may just build one as well.

Tpt life
Are you on Pinterest? Chasing links is like catching a greased pig at times, but I see four or five hits. One is a T-track style from LJ forum.
