wouldwurker
Out of work, so it's nice to build something for my one year old kid that cost $0. This morning, he was pushing around a plain cardboard box making racecar noises. He's been on a real 'Cars' kick lately. So, a rough sketch and a couple coats of spray paint today when he took a nap. Can't wait to see his face in the morning when he comes downstairs.

collinb
Appliance boxes especially so are the stuff creativity is born of. Some friends filled their garage with a dozen so their kids could make a town to play in year-round.

ColinF
So I'm not the only one with an insane toddler I see man they are fun at this age, mine is into big trucks and trains, he gets so excited when he sees one and starts pointing and making the vroom vroom noises! Great job vinny!
Tom Cancelleri
That's awesome, well done Vinny. The video definitely makes it. Kids make the best toys from their imaginations. Mine was an airhose from a jumping frog that had a bulb you squeeze at the end. Wire was every tool and thing I needed it to be. Before you know it, he's gonna be building things with whatever he can find and it will be a car, truck, robot, dragon, sword, and all of the above in the same day. Yay for imagination being the best thing ever.

He'll get it figured out in his lifetime, but not in ours.. we be to old!

wouldwurker
As the most used toy in the house, it's officially time for a pit stop. The box was beginning to crush on itself. Added some 1/8" ply reinforcement.
Tom Cancelleri
I see you added some PVC for a push handle as well. Glad to see it's getting used a lot.
