moonjam
Hi there! I'm AJ an amateur/DIY woodworker from Norwich in the UK. I actually spent most of my teenage years watching 'This Old House' and 'New Yankee Workshop' as they used to run back to back marathons of these during the school holidays on satellite TV here. It was a real pleasure to discover Marc's videos/blog, they've been invaluable in spurring me on to take on some more ambitious projects. I learned a fair bit of joinery from my school/college days but I was taught almost exclusively with hand tools (we did have a band saw and a drill press!) but am slowly starting to wrap my head around all the terrifying machines out there and just how helpful they can be. I've worked on a few projects over the last couple of years but nothing too exciting (a garden gate, some very dull shelves) but I'm hoping to share the progress of my latest, more complicated (for me) project and pick the expert brains of the people here for help if that's ok? Cheers! AJ
