Tom Crawford
Just wondering how many here are in areas that experiencing considerable smoke from the wildfires here in the Pacific Northwest. I'm in southwest Oregon and although there are no fires near we have had visibility of about a mile for a week.

Strasberry
Just wondering how many here are in areas that experiencing considerable smoke from the wildfires here in the Pacific Northwest. I'm in southwest Oregon and although there are no fires near we have had visibility of about a mile for a week. I'm in NW Oregon with two major fires close by. One about 40 miles away and the other about 3 or 4 miles away. Town main street is only about a half mile long and you can't see to the end of town. Smoke is clearing a little but still very dense. So thick that it blotted out the moon and stars the last two nights but better tonight.
Klappco
In Liberty Lake, WA which is just outside of Spokane. Our particle count has been around 180 (today 188) most days which is in the very unhealthy for all category for a week now. A couple of times it has dipped down into the 130s which is still unhealthy for many. Under 50 is the healthy range. My chest hurts like crazy from this. No end in sight. We can't see across the lake which is about 1/2 mile by my estimate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Mick S
I'm near Santa Fe, NM and you could barely see the mountains for the smoke coming in from WA, OR and CA yesterday morning. By afternoon it was much clearer.
davewyo
In Wyoming the smoke has been rather thick for about a week. On Saturday it was bad enough that we could smell it. The wind has shifted slightly in the last couple of days so that it's much less dense and we can see an outline of the mountains again. Klappco
Here is where it stands now. This is a phone screen capture from the EPA Airnow app. Range 150-200 is unhealthy for everyone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
