Trip Posted August 29, 2015 Report Share Posted August 29, 2015 I purchased a 700 around the time it was released. At the time, the big drawback to the 700 was incompatibility with non-FT bits. The largest edge-trimming bit at the time was FT’s 491666. Also at the time, there was no bit that could trim ¾ edging. I believe there is still no off-the-shelf solution.There are several WTO members who have modified the base to permit longer bits. If you search the WTO archive, you’ll find references to the mods...If you find a solution, please post it as there would be interest.
